LAPAPHARM SA is a Greek pharmaceutical company, with a powerful history in the pharmaceutical industry. With its reinvention in 2023, the new LAPAPHARM, addressing to all healthcare professionals, begins again to develop and market branded generic and hybrid pharmaceutical medicine, guided by the ever-changing conditions and the needs of the market.

With strategic partnerships with both multinational and domestic pharmaceutical companies, the company's portfolio is constantly enriched in many therapeutic categories, aiming at quality and safety for society, humans and the environment.

Our vision is for the name Lapapharm to quickly become known to those active in the field of medicine, promoting patient health with innovation and consistency at all levels.

Lapapharm: Inspiration for life

LAPAPHARM Inc was founded in 1947 and was a pioneering Greek pharmaceutical company with a long history and experience. For many years it represented in Greece American Cyanamid (Wyeth), Gilead Sciences, Nexstar, Meda AB, Biocyn GMBH-Instituto Biochimico Italiano (IBI), Regent GM and other companies, distributing well-known products in the Greek market such as Ambisome, Duanoxone, Artane et al.

Since 1958, in addition to the purely pharmaceutical sector (human medicines) and operating as a group, it was also active in both the veterinary and agricultural sectors, promoting the threefold human – veterinary – agricultural medicine and essentially being one of the forerunners of One Health in Greece.

Continuing the family tradition, Mr. Thalis D. Koumendakos as the third generation, today follows the same successful recipe, while harmonizing it in the modern business environment.
